HELP My horse is losing his mane

Every summer my Kentucky Mountain / Arabian Gelding starts losing his mane
leaving empty areas of skin, This summer for some reason the problem is more
severe then usual. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this.

I Know what is wrong with your horse. My horses do the same thing
every year. They put their heads throw the fens and when they do that
they pull their manes out . It will grow back, it is nothing deadly or
anything.
