The American Horse Council (AHC) recently registered opposition to HR,
the landmark bill that would initiate serious enforcement of employment
eligibility. The AHC has decided to back illegal alien labor instead,
greatly to the detriment of legal citizen and permanent resident labor.

Via http://www.numbersusa.com/faxes?ID=4526, you can send a fax to the
AHC to let the equine industry know that legislation modeled on AgJOBS
would ensure that agricultural workers will never be paid more than
minimun wage. Furthermore, it would ensure that taxpayers continue
having to subsidize the workers and their families by providing public
benefits of education, emergency health care, and income supplements
(including tax refunds) for the workers and their families.

Typical sleazy special interest group. Remember their name.

Cute.
I just happen to know someone whose net worth is valued at about $3.5
million dollars, plus or minus a few hundred thousand. They are single, no
kids, no immediate family, and with no one to will their estate to when they
die. They also happen to be a horse lover. They had their last will and
testament drawn up not too long after 9/11, as did a lot of people who had
never given it a previous thought. The American Horse Council is named as
the sole beneficiary in their will. They also just happen to be a staunch
reformer. I doubt the AHC was informed of being named in the will. How
much do you want to bet the AHC gets notice that they are being written out
of the will. I think it would be very appropriate for this individual to
send them via certified mail a copy of the original will naming the AHC as
sole beneficiary. And, then, in the next few days, just long enough for the
bastards to start salivating with their unmitigated and unrepentant greed,
deliver to them via certified mail the revised copy of the will, with an
explanatory note attached for the decision to rescind the generosity.

When I was a kid, children were taught, that if they wanted a pet,
they'd have to clean-up after the pet themselves.

Now we have to pay for others to clean-up after the pets of others
still.
