I'm only 2 hrs from NYC, and have 3 horses who are great to ride.
See http://www.topazgraphics.com/beaverwoodfarm/index.html for more info.
See ya in the saddle.

Two of your horses look very underweight. I hope you've fed
them up some since that picture on your website was taken.

I'm interested in why you say our horses are underweight.
Both our vet and Ferrier said they are the correct working weight.
Please advise?

Looking at the photo of them in the woods, the one that is in the sunlight
clearly shows a lot of ribs. My horse shows a little ribs, too, but only
close up. You would never be able to discern them from this distance. It's
a little harder for me to see with the others, but if they were not in shade
I think they'd show the same.

The horses look fine. Most people are used to seeing overweight horses. I
ride endurance (distance riding), and our horses look like yours.

You should always take the advice of your vet over anonymous people on the
web.

I have many friends who ride endurance. Not one of them has horses whose
ribs show from that distance. But I do agree about taking your own vet's
advice rather than that of total strangers from the web.
