Greetings...

An odd request perhaps... I'm getting married in a month or so and, as
is traditional, i want to give my ushers a small gift... I wanted to
give something that had some meaning (good fortune), they would keep
(wouldn't get lost or broken), was unique and fit in with a limited
budget ... perhaps a horseshoe... of course I'd have to clean them up...
I'm not a horseman (though I am an animal lover) and have no idea where
I might find a used horseshoe... well, 10 horseshoes actually... its a
large wedding party...

Any one have any thoughts?

thanks
Tony

Where you thinking steel or aluminum shoes. Since you are in the Toronto
area, I wanted to suggest Woodbine racetrack. There are always a large
amount of shoes being disregarded, but they are mostly aluminum. Hope this
helps, and all the best on your special day.

Hi Kathy

Thanks for your suggestion... I was thinking steel shoes but perhaps
aluminum would be fine... I suppose I could just drive out to the
racetrack when there's no racing and ask some kind looking soul walking
by...

Thanks for your good wishes too... took me over 40 years but I found my
soul mate... guess I have the good fortune of dozens of horseshoes... :)
